Established in 2009 and managed by Dick Boushey, The Tauro Vineyard is a 26 acre site adjacent to Boushey Vineyards on County Line Road in Grandview, in the higher reaches of Yakima Valley at the prime 1200' to 1250' elevation. The site has an outstanding airflow profile, with a gentle southern slope that ensures maximum sun exposure and ripeness. Soils are deep and well drained silts, with an underlay of glacial sediment. Here we have added plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon #8, Syrah Tablas Creek, Mourvedre TC, Grenache #362 and TC, Petite Verdot #400, and Malbec #9. Whites include Sauvignon Blanc #530, Semillion TC and Viognier TC.
